day 202

Here are a couple strange stories for you...

1. the day I was leaving to go back to LA after Joe's Minneapolis service I was walking in the airport and this guy that look alot like Joe was walking towards me (khaki pants white pressed dress shirt and navy sport coat pulling a small black suitcase salt and pepper hair) I did a double take and when he got closer he smiled at me and said "hi"

2. At the airport again but this time picking up my friend Anne from the by the baggage claim and there was this man yelling "Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill" and I turned to look at him and there was nobody around him for yards and he was just walking and yelling like it was normal. After he passed me he was quiet.

3. I was in NYC walking on the street where there was major construction that was blocking the sidewalk but everyone was waiting for the truck to move and the light to cross the street changed and the lady walking turned and yelled "come this way Jill" again nobody else was around.

These totally could be random things or Joe saying "I'm right here"

day 201

On Tuesday a women in Minneapolis was sentenced to 1 year in the workhouse for driving drunk and killing a man. click here for story

I might be kind of partial to this issue but I think people now a days realize what might happen when your drunk and drive. I truly can't believe that this women only go a 1 in a workhouse and not more jail time. When the government and states get strict on the drunk drivers I believe then people will take this issue seriously.

At the end of March is the trial in LA and I know that there is a chance that the guy who hit Joe could get off but at least he is charged with 15 to life on charge and 15 to life on another. I feel so sad for the family of the guy that died in minneapolis for only getting 1 year in the workhouse.

day 200

I'm buried under a mount of paper work and mail today...I have put it off for too long now I have a huge williams-sonoma bag to go through.

The dog trainer is also coming today to help with Ana. Maybe she has a trick to make Ana sleep through the night.

day 199

So since the cat is out of the bag and my parents now know I have another dog, I'm letting the rest of you who about her.

I got Ana January 2 she is 4 years old. The adoption place I got her from purchased her from a puppy mill auction in Missouri the week of Christmas. So when I got her she had only been out of the puppy mill for a week. She has had puppies i'm not sure how many litters nor what her living conditions were like. She isn't trusting of humans and I still can't sit next to her and pet her, but that will come with time. She has already come a long ways, when I first got her she just sat in the kitchen on her bed not moving. Now she is walking around the house following Foxy and doing everything she does except sit on my lap and beg for carrots.

I will keep you posted on her progress until then enjoy these photos. She as big of a ham as Foxy so it took a while to get photos of her. They both had on vikings jersey's Sunday night but Ana didn't want her photo taken at all, maybe she is a saints fan?

day 193

Friday I skipped going to Jimmy Fallon and I just went walking around the city, the weather was so nice it was 48 and sunny. I stopped by my favorite dog park then went to Trixie and Peanut doggie store to do some shopping or some spoiling. I got foxy a new fuzzy tunnel bed, of course they are shipping it because there no way it would fit in european very small carry on.

Hmmmm a pink wig for Foxy???

The whole wall was covered in dog heads.

Cute dogs

I love when they jump up and run around the tree.

This is Sadie...I wanted to take her photo but she just jumped up in my lap. Her mom took my photo and Sadie a 6 month old chin that is very soft and fuzzy. The Auntie and mom were pissed cause she doesn't do that to anyone. I wanted to take her home.

day 192

Saturday in NYC I decided to go to the play RACE. I heard about it on the view one day and thought it sounded very interesting and controversial. I only had to stand in the TKTS line for a half and hour to get the tickets. Which is good I thought anyway. I got excellent seats 7 rows from the stage right where James Spader stood and talked a lot. (first photos of my hair) After the play I went out to eat at Union Square Cafe, Yummy!

foxy update

I spent 2 1/2 hours at the U of M Vet Emergency Room. Foxy has an infected anal gland. They had to cut it and clean it out. She has an antibiotic cream and medicine along with pain meds that I have to give her for the next 10 days.

She also had to wear a cone around her neck so she doesn't lick it. But since I'm with her for all day I am just watching her. (she looked so sad with the cone on)
