My friendly painter gave me a brand new roll of grass cloth. So I decided to us it to cover up the windows again. looks good don't you think?

- We (my late husband and I) moved to California in December 2008 from Brussels, Belgium. Orginally we are from Minnesota. I have 7 year old papillion-chihuahua mix named Foxy and in January I add a new puppy mill rescue that is 5 years old named Ana. She has taken up alot of my time. My Husband was killed in July 2009 now this is the story of what is happening day to day as a young widow trying to find fun and friends again.

I love all the wood work in your home. I hate when I go into older homes and all of the woodwork is painted. IMO painting the woodwork up in older homes just takes away from the character of the home.
So are you getting a little bit more settled in now?

I agree with your friend Janice. What i really want to see is the painting in that grand old frame on the floor. If you weren't so far, I'd drop in with Belgian chocolate and hope for a tour!

I tend to have wierd sleep hours. I am on total disability so when I'm in major pain, I'm usually on the computer just to pass time. How are you doing anyways other than keeping busy I see?
