Regrets...

I don't have very many regrets in my life which could be a good thing but the two that haunt me a lot are....

Never going to Russia or Egypt with the US embassy trips in Belgium - who would have thought my life and the world would have changed so much in a year and half.

coconut oil & random thought

My skin has been so dry lately - last night I put on coconut oil on it. I'm not sure if it worked or not it was only the first night but my hands look better - my face may take a while. I also heard olive oil works has anyone tried that??

As I'm typing this I'm watching VH 1 jump start. There is a new video and song out from Duran Duran - I caught some lyrics about not being able to move like I could when I was younger...who do they think they are the rolling stones??? who wants to hear Duran Duran again????

I can't believe the bears lost. I think I might just give up on football...

On a lighter note - I have been looking up vegan resturants in LA. I can't wait to try them and also say good bye to LA. I don't know when or if I will be back I do love that city but it is hard to visit considering you need a car. NYC and other walking cities are so much easier to visit.

I have not told you guys yet that I had a bad date last tuesday...so bad I took myself off Match again. It was that his photo didn't match him...did you not think I would notice that...not that looks are a big deal but truth/honesty is. Again younger guys are look pretty good to me :)

go Bears

This weekend I'm having people over for the Bears game on Sunday! Who would have thought the Bears and the Packer would be playing to go to the Super Bowl. What has the world come to?

I got my bears shirt - bears balloons - napkins and cups all ready to go! If the packers win - I may be in bed for a couple days...

Movie

Last night my friend Jenn and I went to an advance screening of No Strings Attached. It was actually quite good. I was laughing and crying. There are some scenes where you will not believe what they are saying...you thought the reactions from the audience at the globes was loud you should of hear the reactions in the movie theater.

I'm not sure if it is a guy movie but I do know it isn't a chick flick.

One more thing...

I liked Ricky Gervais on the Globes! I think he was funny, not sure why they think he crossed the line.

Somebody really need to to this with me or else I will go by myself!!!!!! I will get your ticket to NYC or what ever other fun city they do next year. I did ask Karen but I never heard back from her!

My friend Jilaine's husband really wanted to be on this show top shot. He made it all the way to have an interview in LA. I was really hoping he would make it - the funny part is that the house they stay in is in Santa Clarita...that is my old hood.

He is the guy right after the crazy guy with the sword...oh the host is Colby from the TV show survivor.

How I spent...

I love these guys! I spent my 3rd year in a row with them. (watching them on CNN) How awesome would it be spend it with them! OR to have dinner with them. I would be totally on cloud nine.

Also I wish I was on the other side of Anderson mimicking Kathy :)

I think I have talked about the ladies in my Pilate's class that they are a little bit on the snob side. Well on Wednesday the girl I like was talking about she was teaching a class "The 5 langues of love" I guess it is a book on how you like to rec. love. There are 5 different types of love.

They were talking about the if you like to receive gifts or not...who does not like to get presents? WELL good ones anyway the other not so much. I told the story of how I use to cut out picture of what I would like and would tape them inside Joe's closet so he would know what to get me. No guess for him or stressing out - i have been told I'm hard to buy for. Made it alot easier for him to shop also.

Anyway the point of this is one of the girls said well maybe you are just a shallow person cause you like gifts. REALLY she has a Louis V. bag and is a house wife! I would never give up any of the things Joe gave me now I'm very thankful for every bag, piece of jewelry and Foxy (he game me her) if that is shallow I am.

Old SATC

Last weekend I watched the beginning episodes of Sex and the City. The first 2 seasons I never got on DVD and you never really see the first one on re-runs. I just remember the first couple I never really related to the other seasons I totally could relate to.

This how ever now has changed. The first couple shows were my life. Here are a couple examples.

Carries said that there are no single men in there 30’s and the guys in there 40’s are like a Sunday Times crossword puzzle you just can’t figure them out! This is so true NOW back then I would have never thought about guys in there 40’s!

Then there is a scene where Carrie just wants to kiss so she starts seeing a guy in his 20’s. Then she ends up staying over one night and realizes why she stopped dating guys in there 20’s. (his apartment and roommate were a mess)– For some reason this was funny to me enough said…

The other and main comparison was when her married friends didn’t like her by there husbands – it was ok for them when she was dating a guy they were all excited and did couple things but when she was single they didn’t want anything to do with her. – I don’t think I have much to say about this is speaks for it’s self – back in the day when I watched this I didn’t have many married friends so never really had to deal with this NOW this is a different story.

Anyway just wanted to share this with you thought it was funny how art imitates life.

So I'm so tired that is why the blogs are lacking...Ana has become nocturnal again. Not sure if it is a cycle thing because when I got her a year ago she was then I got her to normal but were back to being up.

So yesterday I got a pair of those zip off pants - but they don't zip of to shorts, they zip off to capris! not sure what the purpose is but I got them and am still looking for a the perfect pair! I also got a head lamp thing. Now I'm going to have to use all this stuff after trip or maybe not :)

I found out there are a total of 9 people going - one married couple, my photo instructor a guy, me and 5 other guys! Yup just 2 girls going what have I gotten myself into. I just hope they are all fun people!

I also started match again but think I will take myself off again - not sure will keep you posted. k

Yesterday I went to the gym to use the sauna - and saw a girl on an elipical machine going backwards fast while her lap top was resting on the top and she was typing like a mad woman. I'm not sure if she is talented or crazy...I use my gym time to forget about everything for a hour or so...I'm also not sure if that will help her - doesn't your body need to be stress free to reduce the fat and make muscle???

trip

I'm getting ready for my trip in april. However I get one bag of 20kilos that will already contain...snorkeling stuff, camera equipment, wet suit, and some food (they suggested that I bring food)

sorry for the crazy blog my internet wireless has been acting up today so now I'm on the regular computer.

Any way I don't think I will have any room for clothes. I'm suppose to bring zip off pants - yay those are not in my closet - do you think they make designer ones?

The gym is full

Yesterday I went to the gym for my TRX session and as I thought it was packed! How long are all these people going keep going?

Today I have a ton of things to get done...Sorry with the holidays I don't have any funny dating stories. Maybe soon I will have some for you :)

Happy New Year! I had a quiet new year eve just hung out with the girls and watched Anderson Cooper. That New Year show always cracks me up.

I didn't do anything on new years day - but the 2 I decided to sort out some of Joe's bike stuff. I need to find a spot for it cause I'm not ready to get rid of any of it.

I have also started to try and get my exercise room ready. I look at treadmills and how to get mirrors on the walls. I did order some Bar method dvd - I can't wait to try them.

Also Jan 2 was the year anniversary of Ana arriving in my house. Yup I have had this crazy dog for a year!
