The other night we had dinner outside.
Joe came home from work and I told him to keep his jacket on because we were eating outside.

- We (my late husband and I) moved to California in December 2008 from Brussels, Belgium. Orginally we are from Minnesota. I have 7 year old papillion-chihuahua mix named Foxy and in January I add a new puppy mill rescue that is 5 years old named Ana. She has taken up alot of my time. My Husband was killed in July 2009 now this is the story of what is happening day to day as a young widow trying to find fun and friends again.

You, on the other hand keep cranking your wonderful pictures and quirky posts and I love them. I am glad you are in the hilly part of So, CA. My kids are in Solana Beach and facing the ocean the beach is nice but don't turn around: the back country is very ugly.
My life has taken an unexpected turn and i may soon spend more time in Belgium. I have mixed feeling about it. I may have to get some clues from you and Kate!

Yes we have good views around us. That is one reason it took so long to find the right house - Some house we looked at had your neighbors right on top of you with no yard.
Mom my table is on the left side of the patio - we have a big patio.
