I found your blog via an expat website. anyway, I was just wondering if you had an good information about moving a dog to Belgium? My husband and I will be moving there in a few months and we would like to take our dog with us. Any information you have would be very helpful.
Hi Jennifer, Thanks for checking out my blog. The web site above will help you out. Basically you need to call your states usda-aphis office get paper work go to an approved vet to get the papers filled out then go to the usda aphis office in your state to get them approved. I'm not sure what the rules are now they change all the time.
Once you get in Belgium you need to get a pet passport which allows you dog to travel in Europe and is required when leaving the country if you do not fly direct into the US. I would double check that again too. We took our dog everywhere!!
Good Luck in Belgium I loved every minute of it - hope you will too. Any other questions you have let me know. Jill
We some times have snow on the mountains. I think since we have been here maybe 4 times I have seen snow on the mountains all around us. We have mountains any way you look.
We (my late husband and I) moved to California in December 2008 from Brussels, Belgium. Orginally we are from Minnesota.
I have 7 year old papillion-chihuahua mix named Foxy and in January I add a new puppy mill rescue that is 5 years old named Ana. She has taken up alot of my time.
My Husband was killed in July 2009 now this is the story of what is happening day to day as a young widow trying to find fun and friends again.

Pretty wild flowers. Looks like when you go for a walk you walk up-hill both ways as you did in Brussels. Mom

Looks like the view that we have around Glenwood Springs. Only right now there is snow on the mountains. The flowers are very pretty. Brenda
