Memorial day
This is my long over due blog on Memorial Day. I was a little sad this year remembering how I spent last years Memorial Day and thinking I would like to do that again. For those of you who don't know I spent the day at a US cemetery attending a ceremony put on by Belgians to thank and remember our soldier from WW1 & WWII.

I went back to your Belgian entry. There aren't too many reasons to be proud to be Belgian these days but this is one of them. I wish i could see the Normandy celebrations today even though they'll be somewhat marred by the exclusion of Queen Elizabeth. WHAT were they thinking of??
