Just another day in LA

Living in LA is always exciting for example almost every day there is a highway pursuit.  Friday morning pursuit was  really crazy, it even made the national news.

Last night I wore up to a bright light and a helicopter over our house.  It was a police helicopter with a spot light going around our house then It was making a wide circle about 4 times just above our house with the spot over a street or two. (no I have no idea what was going on)

Now as I'm typing this another highway pursuit just ended badly.

Have a seat

We got these chairs in Brussels and Joe recovered them on Saturday to look wonderful.

Two awesome chairs
The fabric is more chocolate brown than the taupe color.  the vines are embroidered and the dark burgundy flowers are velvet.

Foxy Friday

One of my friends from Minneapolis has suggested I make Friday's "Foxy Friday's". Lord knows I have enough photos & stories of her. Thanks Kari for the idea.

Foxy wishes everyone a good weekend.

Here Foxy is pouting because I would not let her lick the glittered eggs.  She loves eating hard boiled egg yolks.

hoppy easter

Karl Szmolinsky, who raises a breed of rabbits called giant grays, shows Robert, an 8.5kg giant gray who is 74cm long and has ears 25.5cm long, in the backyard of his house in Eberswalde, Germany in 2006. Szmolinsky sold eight giant grays to a delegation from North Korea that wanted to raise the breed as a source of meat for the North Korean population. Szmolinsky said his rabbits reach a maximum weight of 10.5 kg (23.1lbs.).

Joe is so luck I didn't hear about these bunnies when we were in Brussels.  I always cut out the photos of bunny hutches from the paper and asked for one in Brussels. (I looked for the ad but could not find it right now)

It is no secret I LOVE  everything about Italy. I feel so bad for the people that went through this quake. The buildings are just not built to handle things like this. Let's just hope that the big one doesn't happen in LA for a long time.

Spring has sprung

With most of you still in winter I thought these flower photos would cheer you up!

the big one

There has been a lot of talk about the big one hitting in the next couple days.  Last weekend Joe added the child proof latches to our cabinets so my dishes don't come vibrating out.

We are still working on our earth quake emergency kit though.
