weather

So I have made it in Minnesota for a year. It has really felt a lot longer than that. I'm so thank for for this weather last year when I moved here it was cold, wet and snowed.

Foxy is also happy about this weather - however I don't think it is going to last till March.

Friday night

Friday night I went to First Ave. to see 5 bands for a benefit. Some of the bands reunited just for the concerts...like Semisonic/Trip Shakespeare. Joe and I went to Semisonic when ever we could and of course Dan Wilson. I have lots of stories about then but for now I will just share this video from the concert. The sound sucks cause as usual I'm up front and by the speaker and I think that was just too much for my flip camera to handle. This song was/is on of my favorites and can still imagine Joe singing it to me.

I have no words

Here are photos from Wednesdays playoff game. I just don't have words for the twins right now...even today's Wall St. Journal has no mention of the twins all the other teams but the twins. Just wins the next 3 games...I really want to go the next round of play offs.

Last weekend I was inside all saturday and sunday attending the Nikon School photography classes. Sunday I ran home grabbed the girls and went to the cemetery to get some shot before the sun went down.

Yesterday I took photos of my friend Tiff little girl. It went pretty good, hope you enjoy these photos. She is 3 and full of energy, I had to be quick on the button to get the shots.

best thing

I thought getting Twins Season tickets was the best thing I have done since I moved back to Minnesota...This Bose ipod player is a close second. I love it I'm not sure why I didn't get one sooner. My or Joe's cd player thing with the stereo doesn't work anymore so this is what I decided to do instead of a whole new stereo system. Going with out music is not an option.

Hope Rocks

Saturday I went to the Hope Rocks Benefit. The band was Everclear. It benefits families that have lost a child and need a get a way at a lodge in Wisconsin.

I went by myself but met Don & Annie. Don was the guy who sang at Joe's funeral. Don was busy running around and Annie was talking to all her friends...I was just happy they got me into the VIP section and just hung there all night with no worries. Yes most of the night i was sitting by myself but i was in the VIP all was good.

If I would have thought or had a bigger dress clutch I would have brought my camera. The 2 photos below were taken on my iphone and I'm not a big fan of cell phone photos.

I'm getting out but i'm still not a 100% I ran away when the guitarist flirted with me and pass up a chance to hang with the band. Now does that sound like something I would have passed up in the past?
